We use in vivo electrophysiology with multisite electrode arrays. The lab consists of sound-proof chamber for visual and auditory experiments. It is equipped with a full anesthesia set up for voaltile isoflurane anesthesia, and artifical ventilation, as well as and physiological monitoring to perform state of the art experiments.
The lab contains a combination of a digital Neuralynx set up Digital Lynx SX for recording up to 256 channels and stimulation and recording set ups. Stimuli are custom-controlled via Matlab and National Instrument DIO cards.
We use Neuronexus multielectrode arrays as well as thin-film surface electrodes with different configurations and electrode numbers.
